The Deanship of Library Affairs at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University was established by order of the officiating Minister of Higher Education Resolution No. 1232/A dated 06/14/1432 AH. It is one of the service deanships of the University Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, which works to create libraries in all university branches, provide paper and electronic information sources, and provide modern technologies in order to serve the university's employees and the outside community.
The deanship supervises technically and administratively all library affairs at the university and its 18 branches, distributed over all university branches including Delam, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Al-Slyl and Wadi Al-Dawasir campuses, in addition to the technical and administrative departments and support services. It is also responsible for organizing and participating in book fairs, and distributing publications. issued by the university, in addition to representing the university at the national and international levels.
