6. Director of Administration at the Deanship of Library Affairs, Member

Provided that the Standing Committee for Library Affairs shall be concerned with looking into everything related to library affairs, and in particular it shall have the following:
1. Studying and approving what is submitted to the committee by the Dean of Library Affairs.
2. Adoption of strategies, regulations and work regulations in the university libraries.
3. Discussing the posts of the External Deanship.
4. Examine the annual reports of the Deanship.
Scientific Committee of the Deanship of Library Affairs:
It consists of:
1. Dean of Library Affairs, President
2. Vice Dean for Library Affairs, Vice President
3. Faculty member, majoring educational studies, Member
4. Faculty member, majoring in Islamic studies, Member
5. Faculty member, majoring in engineering, Member
6. Faculty member in a health specialty, Member

Provided that the Permanent Scientific Committee of the Deanship of Library Affairs is responsible for looking into all matters related to library affairs, and in particular it has the following:
1. Determining the criteria for selecting books.
2. Reviewing book purchase requests (acquisition policy).
3. Scientific supervision of weeding operations.
4. Supervising the scientific posts of the Deanship.
5. Supervising the scientific and community activities of the Deanship.
Technical Committee of the Deanship of Library Affairs:
It consists of:
1. Dean of Library Affairs, President
2. Vice Dean for Library Affairs, Vice President
3. Head of Development and Quality department, Member
4. Head of technical affairs department, Member
5. Head of sub-libraries department, Member
6. Head of technical and training department, Member
8. Secretary of the Committee, Secretary
Provided that the permanent technical committee of the Deanship of Library Affairs shall be concerned with looking into all matters related to library affairs, and it shall have the authority in particular
the following: -
1. Study book offers
2. Periodically review the contents of university libraries
3. Supervising the exchange and gifting
4. Supervising the technical operations of libraries
5. Periodic follow-up of electronic services and the website of the Deanship
Safety Committee of the Deanship of Library Affairs
It consists of:

The duties of the committee are as follows:-
