The Vice Rector for Student Affairs (Female), Dr. Bushra bint Ahmed Al-Hammad, and her delegation visited the central library on the university campus this Thursday morning, 6/1/2022 AD. The delegation received by the Dean, Vice Dean and staff, and toured the central library facilities and listened to a detailed explanation of its contents, which includes the departments of Arabic and English books in all disciplines, scientific references, the university theses department, and the training hall, which is equipped with the latest advanced technical and digital means. Also explain the book lending service and guidance service, which are available at the reach of students, faculty members and researchers to ensure that they improve their experience Enhancing education skills and raising thinking and awareness. For his part, the Dean of the Deanship of Library Affairs, Dr. Issa bin Khalaf Al-Dosari, indicated to “My University Electronic Newspaper” that the Deanship always seeks with interest to provide all the needs of the educational and academic process to support students, faculty members and researchers with the best capabilities that will enable them to obtain knowledge sources in all disciplines and scientific and research references. It is noteworthy that the Deanship of Library Affairs provides its technical and administrative services at the university’s main campus in Al-Kharj and its branches in Delam, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Al-Salil and Wadi Al-Dawasir, which amount to 18 libraries with a total number of 225,522 book copies and 50418 titles that varied between scientific, health, humanitarian and administrative disciplines to represent the basic books of knowledge It also provides a set of services to the beneficiaries represented in the reference service, information bases and data on the Internet, the search service in the library catalog, the unified Arab index and the Saudi Digital Library, in addition to the book lending service and the guidance and counseling service.
